A rapidly expanding cosmopolitan city with buildings rising from the Sonoran Desert like the mountains that surround it … a metropolis reawakened after centuries of dormancy from its Hohokam inhabitants. The canals the Hohokam built centuries ago, that once crisscrossed the Valley were later reused for modern irrigation.
Scottsdale is legendary for world-class shopping, awesome art galleries, fine dining and great golfing, NASCAR and Indy Car racing along with every major professional sports franchise. There is so much to do in Scottsdale and across the Valley, which of course comes along with over 330 days of annual sunshine!
Phoenix and Scottsdale continue to host more and more sports championships from the WMPO (Waste Management Phoenix Open) to College Bowls, the NCAA Final Four, and of course the Super Bowl which will once again return to Glendale. AZ. in 2023.
